|Karl Rosenfield Peony
- Double type; Red slightly inclined to purple, large size
- Very bright crimson with very little blue in it, outer petals large and waved, central
petals incurved and notched.
- Late nineteenth century breeders attempted to eliminate dulling pigments and
the Karl Rosenfield is a product of this development.
